Description:
· Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for small to medium account contract renewals that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing the customer relationship
· Maximize account growth opportunities by playing an active role on the account team and helping to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal
· Own, drive and manage the renewals process in collaboration with the account team
· Work with internal resources (Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, Product Mgmt, Customer Success, Account Executives, etc…) to develop comprehensive 'win' strategies for renewals
· Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure
· Provide executive management with complete visibility to renewals and solicit executive involvement as required.
· Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies
· Accurately maintain a rolling 120 day forecast of renewals in your territory
· Manage a high volume of transactions that are in different stages to completion
Required Skills/ Experience:
· 3 Years+ demonstrated success in a Sales, Operations, or Account Management capacity with a strong focus on negotiating services contracts
· 1 year experience managing a high volume of phone transactions
· Bachelors Degree
Desired Skills/Experience:
· Possess solid negotiation skills that allow for value-based contract negotiations at the CXO level
· Experience negotiating complex multi-year services contracts
· Strong understanding of the Business Applications and Application Development marketplaces
· Strong customer management skills
· Experience with an enterprise CRM or customer service application. Experience with salesforce.com a significant plus.
· Ability to manage transactions through different stages using technology
