The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Salesforce implementations as well as various other systems that support our organization. This position includes a focus on ensuring the success of project delivery and making an impact to support innovative solutions and functionality. This opportunity requires deep knowledge of relational databases and the Salesforce platform.
The System Administrator will report to the Director, Enterprise Systems Engineering and be a key member of an growing, innovative, and distributed technology team focused on delivering an excellent user experience.
Core Responsibilities
Salesforce.org is a fast-paced organization that is growing rapidly. It should be expected that the scope of this position will evolve. Below is a representation of what may be included in the System Administrator’s typical responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders and Product Managers to define requirements, design and create new processes
- Create and maintain declarative configuration including workflows and approval processes
- Monitor and respond to support requests from users
- Support both internal and external user administration, permissions and access
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Maintain current and assist in designing new system integrations
- Assist in release planning and execution with Enterprise Systems team members
- Develop and deliver end user training
- Collaborate with developers on data quality projects, including developing automated data cleansing routines as well as manual data clean up
General Skills
- Excellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience with integration between enterprise information systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and open to taking on a variety of different types of tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate and work with distributed teams
Technical Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years experience with Salesforce administration, certification a plus
- Significant experience with Salesforce.com including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities
- Significant experience gathering requirements and implementing data migrations, data maintenance routines, and system integrations
- Thorough understanding of Salesforce.com security model including sharing, profiles, and roles for both internal and external users
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and the Salesforce.com APIs a plus
- Previous experience working in an agile environment a plus
- Experience with Pardot, Marketing Cloud (Exact Target), and marketing automation systems a plus
