Role:
Play a key role as you contribute to Salesforce.org’s efforts to define, measure, and understand our social impact! The M&E Manager, Technology Impact will lead measurement & evaluation efforts focused on our technology for social change program. As a member of the Measurement & Evaluation team, you will be expected to both lead work and contribute to long-term team strategy. The M&E Manager, Technology Impact will report to the M&E Senior Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead M&E work focused on technology for social change
- Assist with M&E work in other functional areas across Salesforce.org
- Contribute to M&E team strategy
- Report on findings to internal audiences within Salesforce.org and Salesforce.com
- Partner with other Salesforce.org departments to ensure effective and appropriate use of findings
- Communicate findings to external audiences via presentations and publications
Experience/Skills Required:
- Deep commitment to making the world a better place through technology
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies to conduct M&E work
- Creating and maintaining programmatic logic models
- Generating evaluation questions and data collection strategies
- Developing appropriate instruments, collecting data, and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Reporting on findings to internal audiences
- Some experience with evaluating technology innovation programs
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline required, graduate degree strongly preferred
- Experience with sharing findings externally via conference presentations and/or publications (e.g., blog posts, monographs, book chapters, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate with others to ensure successful project completion
- Strong communication skills, especially when sharing M&E work to audiences who may not be familiar with the work we do
- Excellent organizational skills
Experience/Skills Desired:
- Experience with using Salesforce
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, Atlas.ti, NVivo)
