Description:
Amplify Salesforce.org's deal velocity by joining our deal desk team. Manage a team of deal desk specialists responsible for working with the sales team to engage with customers and get deals done. Gain deep knowledge of our products and practices in order to implement new innovative deal structures and to assist the sales team to build more complex deals.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a team of deal desk specialists
· Point of escalation for all deal desk and quote administration related issues
· Implement case management system in order to track key business metrics as it pertains to deal fulfillment
· Create and implement innovative deal structures and educate the sales team
· Gain deep product knowledge to assist in building complex deals
· Work closely with Finance, Legal and Operations to optimize contract terms and close deals
· Backfill for deal desk specialists as needed
Experience/Skills Required:
· 2-3+ years of experience in managing a deal desk
· 3+ Years of experience as a team lead or people manager within a SAAS environment
· Previous experience in SAAS based companies preferred
· Experience with Salesforce CRM along with CPQ software
· Excellent communication (written and verbal)
· Good customer relationship skills to manage a variety of customer interactions
· Demonstrated initiative, ability to work independently
· Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines
· Thrives in a team environment
· Past participation in process improvement initiatives and/or business improvement projects
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
