Global Real Estate and Workplace Services team members are part of an award winning department continually pushing the boundaries of Corporate Real Estate in support of Salesforce’s 111 offices, in 81 cities, accommodating 21,000 employees. Role Description:

The Facilities Coordinator will report to the HQ Facilities Manager. The Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day facilities operations. They will connect with their Facilities Lead on strategic maintenance plan and operational maintenance wish list for the San Francisco offices. This position requires a high level of customer service. Help make Salesforce a great place to work!

Responsibilities

·  Establish strong relationships and communication within all levels of the organization to understand and meet business needs
·  Own relationships with vendors that support our facility operations, supplies and services
·  Create a liaison with Building Management for operations and maintenance
·  Maintenance of common areas, including kitchens, game room, mother’s room and supply rooms
·  Collaborative, flexible and teachable approach to the role and required duties
·  Strong internal and external communication skills; oral, written and electronic
·  Respond to services requests (ticketing) assigned to the facilities queue in a timely manner
·  Assigns technicians or vendors to perform repairs and coordinate work until complete.
·  Perform minor building maintenance but know when to solicit quotes from contractors for larger facility repairs and improvements
·  Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly, will ensure that building management is delivering quality services and will make sure that all internal customer demands are being met.

Required Skills/Experience:

·  Minimum 1-3 years of related hands-on Facilities experience required
·  Experience handling internal moves
·  Self-starter; handles self with minimal supervision and is pro-active
·  Ability to plan and organize work in the required areas;
·  Being able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills
·  Proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
·  Must be willing/able to learn and use our internal Salesforce.com software application
·  Customer service experience preferred
·  Must have a great can-do attitude and willingness to complete the job
