As the Enablement Analytics Data Engineer you will be working closely with a team of software developers, database architects, business analysts and data scientists across Salesforce.com to wrangle/consolidate data from various business systems, perform sophisticated data analysis, and build dashboards/tools to examine the data. The role focuses on structuring data in databases, maintaining databases, developing automation scripts, developing dashboards and helping drive business insights from data. You must be able to illustrate analytics with use of data visualization, in a concise and simple fashion for business users to understand. Most of all, you are curious, excited about optimizing or even re-designing our existing data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives. You are self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the business to identify business data and metrics to be analyzed
· Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
· Assemble and maintain large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
· Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
· Build analytics with data visualizations that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into business performance
· Work with a variety of stakeholders including the Business Executives, IT, Product and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
· Drive the maturity of data engineering in the Enablement organization
Required Skills/Experience:
·
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 3+ yrs, proficiency with Postgre/SQL, SOQL, SAQL, JSON
· 3+ yrs, proficiency in a scripting language like Python or Perl
· 1-3 yrs experience in applied statistics, data mining and analysis
· 1-3 yrs experience in Data Visualization tools
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as the business and technical communities
· Extremely adept at integrating disparate information and understanding data trends
· Must be able to proactively communicate status and identify risks
· Team-first mentality
· Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities
· Results oriented and able to move forward without complete information and with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills/Experience:

· Hands-on Salesforce Einstein Analytics configuration and development experience
· Experience articulating Salesforce Einstein Analytics design and implementation best practices
· Skills and experience with Force.com and Lightning
· Statistical modeling, machine learning
· Heroku
· PostgreSQL, NoSQL, BigQuery, AWS ‘big data’ technologies
· Distributed computing e.g. Map/Reduce Hadoop, Airflow, Kafka, Spark
