Job Summary:
The Finance Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of numerous dashboards for various areas of Finance. The analyst should have experience managing admin related processes specifically related to release migration activities and provisioning users. The analyst will become the resident expert on optimizing current dashboard. The analyst will gain in-depth knowledge of the business and translating the data for various data analysis. Focus on data validations for new features as they become available. The analyst is also responsible for doing ad-hoc analysis on various sets of data and provide results/findings to the business owners or management team.
Responsibilities:
• Optimize, maintain and migrate dashboards in Salesforce Wave(Analytics Cloud) Platform for all Finance business units
• Perform data validates actives for the new features developed
• Manage regular data uploads to refresh the databoard data
• Support admin tasks to manage user access and permissions
• Maintain documentation of Dashboard nuances and logic for quick reference
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests to provide insights to various teams
• Work closely with information technology team to troubleshoot data issues
• Develop documents for maintenance related activities for various processes and dashboards

Required Skills:
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst/Administrator

• Passion for data, reporting, visualization, learning new tools and technologies
• Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects, Cogno etc..
• Knowledge/ Experience with databases like Oracle, MySql, SqlServer, etc..
• Experience with scripting tools like JavaSript, JSON etc.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, spotfire etc..
• Advanced Excel and analysis skills
• Strong research and problem solving abilities are required
• Team player, comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal ability to communicate ideas through data
• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college/university with a relevant degree

Desired Skills:
• Business Intelligence experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Analytics, Consulting
• Working knowledge of databases and writing SQL (Oracle, MySQL etc.. )
