• Conduct advanced research and develop innovative signal-processing and positioning algorithms for GNSS and LEO PNT systems.

• Innovate new ideas to improve the realism of the GNSS simulation environments.

• Actively participate in the initial design stages for new products and recommend improvements and changes to existing simulation platforms. This may include early phases of technical studies of new upfront technologies.

• Provide technical support to engineering team members and other departments as needed.

• Help Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations and timely solutions.

• Write professional technical reports and white papers.

Complementary Description

Safran is looking for a talented GNSS Engineer with expertise in signal processing, positioning algorithms and RF to conduct applied research in GNSS systems. The ideal candidate will join our GNSS research team within the simulation group and collaborate with developers and product validation engineers in Montreal/Canada, and Nantes/France. The candidate will play a key role in developing state-of-the-art GNSS algorithms to create innovative solutions for Safran customers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and computer Engineering or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in signal processing, RF and GNSS systems.

• A candidate who holds an M.Sc. or diploma in Engineering is preferred.

• Programming capability in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, with demonstrated experience in debugging and troubleshooting.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to fluently speak and write English and French in a multicultural team.
