Job Summary:
Constructs aircraft interior and structure parts such as bin doors and ceiling panels by trimming the parts using hand tools such as routers, drills, etc. using manufacture order, company and customer specifications. Must possess strong attention to detail and have ability to read and understand manufacturing orders.
Summary of Duties:
Operates and processes parts in trim area
Safely trims parts per specifications
Properly maintains and identifies defects in Trim Drill Fixture and Hand Route Fixture and report any findings to supervisor
Document the process to maintain traceability
Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, manufacturing orders and customer specifications
Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process
General Notes
o Must carefully handle material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling
o Ability to wear specialized PPE during entirety of shift including full-face masks with respirators, etc.
o As business conditions change, it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future
o Mandatory participation in required OJT including stamps, etc.
o Inherent ability to understand and follow health and safety policies, procedures, requirements & regulations
o All employees must understand and complete mandatory 24 hours of training requirements per year
o All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of Safran Cabin products

Qualifications:
Level 1 Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 0 – 1 year(s) in aerospace manufacturing or equivalent preferred
Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office products
Description: Entry-level position within field
Other Skills:
• Basic ability to use and read measuring devices, calipers, pneumatic hand tools, trim tools.
• Must be independently proficient in 1 – 2 trim operator specialization(s), i.e. band saw and/or sanding parts.
• Requires little to no experience in discipline.
• Conducts routine tasks as directed.
• Ability to read and write English at a comprehensive level necessary for successful job performance.
• Good hand / eye coordination required.
