In the role of Manufacturing Engineer III you'll play a pivotal part in problem resolution. You'll have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products. This position contributes to our vision by:

o Assisting in the follow-up and resolution of Supplier Non-Conformances impacting the on-time availability of production material

o Providing status on critical material needs

o Follow-up of material sales to other Safran Business Units

o Support the resolution of problems that arise in the Receiving and Inspection areas

o Monitor trends in material related issues and propose solutions

 Support the Production Control Teams through;

 Assisting in the communication and follow-up of material priorities;

 Assisting in the generation of department metrics and KPIs;

 Improvement projects may be assigned;

 Regular, predictable attendance is required

 Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

 Requires a High School Diploma. Prefers a candidate pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain or Engineering disciplines.

 Knowledge of ERP systems - Preferred
