Job description

• Invoice payment processing and reconciliation

• P2P (Procure-to-Pay) creation and processing for both Quality Assurance and Supply Chain functions

• Provide backup coverage for production order release and basic production planning tasks

• Support Andon calls with a response time of 1 hour or less

• Complete and submit Daily QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) reporting

• Expedite orders as directed by supply chain lead

• Manage vendor certifications documentation and tracking

• Monitor late Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and provide resolution support

• Reconcile and record scrap as per procedure

• Other tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Manager

Safran Electrical Components Canada Inc., specializing in the manufacturing of fluid conveyance and electrical components for aerospace, defense and commercial customers, is looking for a motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety. You will be responsible for contributing to, implementing, and executing quality processes, procedures, and standards to guarantee the integrity of our products from supplier to customer. Your attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement will be essential in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior components.

Must be available to work during regular business hours:

Mon-Thurs 8:00am – 4:30pm

Fri 8:00am – 2:00pm

Candidate skills & requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Analytical problem-solving abilities

• Team-oriented with a proactive approach

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Resilient under pressure and able to meet deadlines

• Self-motivated and adaptable

• APICS, SCMP, or other supply chain certification

• Experience with vendor management and certification processes in aerospace

• English fluency with excellent oral and written communication skills

• Regular attendance is an essential requirement of this role due to operational needs.

• Ability to work in accordance with Ontario Health & Safety legislation.

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to qualify for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Canada. Due to operational requirements and the time needed to obtain CGP clearance, only candidates who meet this criterion will be considered.

This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job
