As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Safran, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of our supplier network, supporting both operational excellence and overall program performance

Key Responsibilities

Act as a key interface between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear interpretation and communication of quality requirements.
Lead and support supplier quality activities, managing non‑conformances and quality issues within agreed timelines.
Monitor and report on supply chain quality performance, including the creation and deployment of metrics to support business objectives.
Provide support for First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, including modifications or supplier transfer projects when required.
Conduct supplier reviews covering all quality aspects, driving continuous improvement and supporting APQP deployment across programs.
Carry out capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection and qualification.
Perform analyses, tests, and process audits to ensure manufacturing and testing readiness.
Provide Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions for non‑conformances.
Execute internal audits to maintain and ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.


Desired profile

-Proven experience in Quality within a technical or industrial environment.
-Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
-Demonstrated experience in supplier management and direct collaboration with suppliers.
-Experience in quantitative/statistical analysis, including data collection, preparation, and interpretation.
-Proven experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of effective corrective actions.
