Description
-Manage a portfolio of Local and Global Suppliers to ensure SLS LG sites requirements are met.
-Manage and monitor the supplier NQC (non-quality cost) charge back progress
-Compile and monitor action plans for poor performing Suppliers for both Local and Global SLS sites as per the “control of underperforming supplier” process
-Lead / participate in multisite Supplier business reviews with a SLS cross functional team (CFT).
-Ensure a common approach is taken towards management of the Supplier and that the Supplier recognizes this approach from SLS.
-Work within a CFT to ensure successful work packages transfers in the Supply Chain.
-Support the SPM in the effective implementation of Supplier Performance strategy and initiatives from SLS.
-Manage internal expectations with key Customers to ensure full customer satisfaction.
-Support rate readiness and maturity audits.
-CONDUCT regular Supplier Reviews with suppliers depending on risk and criticality
*ESTABLISH Supplier visit planning, depending on risk and criticality.
*DRIVE Supplier visit and could be supported on demand by SLS site SPM
*MONITOR KPI (OTD, OQD) consolidation of Local and Global Suppliers including liaising with other SLS sites
*MONITOR all SLS sites issues for a given supplier
*OWNS the “Improvement action plan” (dedicated to the supplier and integrating all sites issues) to recover from a situation
-CONDUCT RISK and RATE ASSESSMENT :
*ASSESS mid to long term (2-5 Years) capacity and monitor action plans to cope with SLS business needs in support of SPM/CPM.
*ASSESS industrial maturity and risks and monitor mitigation plan
-LAUNCH & COORDINATE application of logistics and order policy for all sites
*ROVIDE detail view of the order book per site, supplier delivery forecast & recovery plan if any delay
*PROVIDE logistics conditions, lead time (contractual and actual), batch size
-ESCALATE delivery and quality issues with the Supplier
*ESCALATE to CPM to drive decision making process with other functions
*RESOLVE capacity conflicts between SLS LG sites
*IDENTIFY CLOSE out of root causes
*WARNING in case of supplier risk (delivery, quality, financial, ...)
*COMMUNICATE to the supplier on Major Program changes
*Analyze impact on Load
*Monitor implementation (from supplier selection)
-COORDINATE meetings between SLS site focal points for a supplier
*ESTABLISH periodic meeting calendar for current year, Invite CPM, commodity buyer – Periodicity according to criticality
*COMMUNICATE issues and best practices across SPM Leaders
*LIAISE with Purchasing to manage Supplier relationship and risks and other common issues
*COORDINATE Recovery plans : managing the priorities consistent with the program priorities
*ENSURE availability in share-point of audits, reviews, assessments, reports…

Desired profile

This job is a leader role reporting to the SLS site SPM Manager within the Supplier Performance Management Department.
This role involves pro-actively managing relationships with Suppliers / other SPL and SLS site focal points, ensuring SLS requirements are clearly recognized.

In order to effectively carry out this role, SPM Leaders will need to be able to demonstrate the following competencies :
Analytical and IT Skills Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Decision making skills Business understanding
Negotiating and Influencing Commercial awareness

Flexibility is essential to liaise with colleagues and Suppliers in other time zones
