Job description

Reporting to the Safran Seats GB site Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) within the Strategic Purchasing Department
This role involves leading and participating in the pro-active management of supplier's performance through business reviews, tactical recovery monitoring and risk assessment mitigation.
The role requires occasional travelling (up to 80%) within the UK and oversees when necessary.

- Manage a portfolio of Local and Global Suppliers where necessary to ensure Safran requirements are met and understood.
- Compile and monitor action plans for poor performing Suppliers.
- Lead / participate in multisite Supplier business reviews with a Safran cross functional team (CFT).
- Ensure a common approach is taken towards management of the Supplier and that the Supplier recognises this approach from Safran.
- Work within a Safran CFT to ensure successful work package transfers in the Supply Chain.
- Support the SPM in the effective implementation of Supplier Performance strategy and initiatives.
- Manage internal expectations with key Customers to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Conduct rate readiness assessments and support maturity audits when necessary.
- Conduct regular Supplier Reviews with suppliers depending on risk and criticality
- Conduct Risk and Rate Assessments
- Escalate delivery and quality issues with the Supplier
- Coordinate meetings between Safran site focal points for a supplier
