Job description

• Strong communication skills

• Responsible for the release of all parts, work orders, cs transfers and shippers

• Responsible for coordinating with team members to ensure smooth flow of inventory

• Responsible for all relevant SAP transactions and basic computer skills – MS-Office

• Responsible for all documents related to the stores area. Documents for scanning, travelers, shippers and transfers

• Unpacking all items and completed parts for safe storage locations

• General housekeeping

Candidate skills & requirements

Basic Inventory release and receipt skills and understanding of cycle count principles. Experience with data entry is required; must be able to lift 50-55lbs on a regular basis; excellent computer & problem-solving skills; self-motivated; able to multi-task & work with minimal supervision along with the ability to adapt to constant daily changes.

Education and/or Certifications: Minimum grade 12 or 3 to 5 years related experience in an Aerospace or high-tech environment.

Work Experience: 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment; experience in inventory management within a Stores environment; background in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment preferred.

Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge/understanding of SAP logistics system an asset. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.

The ability to work shifts when required and working within a team environment.

Rate: starting at $29.32 as per Collective Agreement
