We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Configuration team as a Senior Configuration Engineer at our Pitstone site.

Your Role

As a Senior Configuration Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power - Pitstone, you will champion and support the effective configuration and change control process across Engineering within the Product Lifecycle Management environment. You will ensure data accuracy, traceability and compliance across the lifecycle of our products at all stages from early concept to in-service. Working with cross functional stakeholders to ensure change impacts are available, managed and visible to allow good decision making. We work in a Windchill PLM tool so experience and skills with this are highly desirable.

What You'll Bring

Essential

* Understanding of configuration management principles within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Awareness of Change control processes and lifecycle concepts.
* Experience working with structured data, records, or workflows.
* Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering data management tools (e.g. Windchill).
* Good attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work collaboratively within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.

Desirable

* Awareness of aerospace or regulated industry standards and expectations.
* Interest in developing further capability within configuration management.
