Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. As part of our growth (RAMP UP) in LEAP engines, we are looking for a SAP Support Officer to strengthen our Operations team: you will provide expertise and support to the Operations department, ensuring efficient SAP system performance, supporting new projects, and helping users make the most of SAP.
Job Requirements
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• You are independent and solution-oriented.
• You actively contribute to improvement projects and process simplifications.
• You are detail-oriented and transparent in your daily work.
• Proficiency in SAP, and understanding of SAESB's processes & the shop visit workflow.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
• You are independent and solution-oriented.
• You actively contribute to improvement projects and process simplifications.
• You are detail-oriented and transparent in your daily work.

Your role:
Training and Development:
• Train new employees to become proficient SAP users.
• Support the teams in resolving SAP-related issues.
• Create practical documentation for SAP transactions and update user manuals.
• Develop SAP queries and use tools like Winshuttle to enhance process efficiency.
Research:
• Build expertise in various SAP domains.
• Analyze recurring issues and propose structural solutions.
• Share research findings with internal and external stakeholders.
Testing and Projects:
• Test new SAP developments before they go live.
• Collaborate closely with the Global IT team.
• Ensure smooth SAP integration during new project launches.
