Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. As part of our growth (RAMP UP) of LEAP engines, we are looking for Repair/CNC Operator to strengthen our teams.

As experienced CNC machine operator, you will oversee our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines. You will be responsible for ensuring machining of subassembly, quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings dimensions.

Your Role :

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.

• Ensure CNC machines operate in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.

• Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.

• Inspect machinery daily to ensure proper functionality.

• Record all machine activities by completing production and quality logs.

• Provide accurate timelines and updates to clients.

• Communicate with the Methods Department regarding any issues encountered during machining.

• Ensure that machining results meet the defined work scope and quality expectations.

• Conduct regular assessments and maintenance of CNC machines.

Candidate skills & requirements

Your Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent attention to detail and a goal-oriented attitude.

• Strong comprehension and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques in the industry.

• Good computer skills.
