Job description
Reporting to the Quality Manager, he/she will monitor, implement as well as assist in developing quality activities for both engineering and operations with the emphasis on; error prevention, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, legislation, regulation and standards adherence in all elements of the product lifecycle.

Desired profile
• Perform quality system evaluation and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide Quality Engineering support to the Operation personnel.
• Monitor non-compliances reported during audits and initiate corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrences.
• Monitor statistical data on non-compliances and initiate corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrences.
• Formulate Internal Quality Auditing Plan and audit Quality Systems to ensure the compliance with Company's policy, quality systems and procedures.
• Assist Operations in ensuring that all staff involved in airworthiness works are suitably trained to carry out the processes.
• Assist Operations in ensuring that Airworthiness requirements are met.
• Issue Internal Approval Certifications to suitably qualified individuals.
• Formulate quality procedures as required.
• Participate actively and contribute to HSE development and improvements.
• Participate actively and contribute to Lean Six Sigma development and improvements.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments/ projects that may arise from time to time.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years related aerospace experience.
