Descrizione della mission

What does the role look like?

Join the Validation & Verification Engineering team to lead the assigned qualification activities during the design, development and qualification phases for R&D and NPI (new product introduction) programs for all the hydraulic and pneumatic equipments.

You will work closely with Engineering Project Leader within cross-functional teams to ensure the certification of R&D or new products from proposal phase to entry to service (EIS).

This role requires a deep understanding of development and qualification processes, as well quality standards in the aerospace industry.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

 Qualification activity. Act as qualification technical focal point for the project leader, customer and all internal stakeholders. ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality targets.

 Responsible for the preparation of all the qualification documents required to certify the R&D and NPI products, as but not limited to, qualification program plan (QPP); qualification test procedures (QTP); qualification by similarity and analysis report (QSAR).

 Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with Engineering Project Lead and collaborate with operation functions to accomplish qualification activities.

 Quality Assurance. Ensure that all qualification activities are executed in compliance with all applicable standard work, applicable procedures and customer specifications.

 Documentation and Reporting. Maintain accurate qualification documentation and present findings to the Engineer Project Leader and key stakeholders.

 Change Management. Capture all technical customer changes respect to the specification requirements and estimate the impact in the qualification activities for the change implementation.

 Lessons Learning. Be active part of the lessons learned process aimed to collect feedback from the qualification of previous developed equipments and collaborate to flow back learning into applicable Standard Work and procedures and to share lessons learned among engineering members.

What will you bring to the role?

Desirable skills:

 Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.

 Extensive knowledge of design, development, validation and verification process of components and systems. A consolidated experience in aerospace is preferred.

 +3 year of proven experience of successfully qualification process in delivering the documentation requirements for the certification products on time and within budget, preferably in an aerospace development context.

 Good knowledge of qualification process and standard procedures (RTCA-DO160, MIL-STD810 etc.)

 Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, demonstrating positive and collaborative attitude.

 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

 Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

 Good use of Microsoft Office Package and Project Scheduling Tools.

 Fluent Italian and English (written and oral)

 Availability to travels between Italian sites, test houses national and abroard.

 Driving license.
