Job description

Are you interested in working at the business end of Aerospace?

We're looking for a high achieving individual who has previous experience managing complex programmes in a regulated environment. You will be well versed in financial controls, project planning & worked in an NPI setting previously.

• Leading a multi-disciplined group of people in meeting contracted project objectives and targets. This will involve communicating with senior level management within the business and Customer's organisation

• Primary customer interface, with responsibility for delivering contract requirements and customer relationship

• Be the main programme interface for ensuring NPI programme execution in accordance with business policy's and procedures, and gated review requirements.

• Ensuring NPI governance to cover, but not limited to;

o Financial performance and reporting (i.e. Earned Value Management - BAC / EAC Tracking)

o Change Management

o Risk and Issue management

o Project Planning and Control

o Integrated Project Team and Stakeholder management

• Working with the IPT leads to generate, maintain and effectively communicate project plans and resource profiles/ requirements.

• Be fully conversant with the business management system and implement across the project (s) under your responsibility - Ensuring compliance.

• Drive Customer Satisfaction to ensure positive Customer Satisfaction surveys against agreed and structured success criteria

• Supporting Project Status Reviews to Customer and Senior Management

• Ensure Key Project Indicators are tracked, maintained and reported on a regular basis via the Tier Review process and other agreed business processes

• Be an advocate for and drive continuous improvement activities utilising Continuous Improvement process methodologies

Candidate skills & requirements

Essential skills:

• Previous experience of delivering New Product Introduction with project planned and control attributes

• Demonstrable track record of high-performance standards used to deliver against a programmes objectives

• Accountability, abundant leadership and communication skills

• Must be comfortable working within a defence environment

Desirable skills:

• Excellent financial awareness and financial management skills
