The Program Quality Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining efficient and robust governance with customers on Quality aspects during development and sustaining phases of various programs by being the preferred contact for customers and supporting the appropriate program manager and internal project team on these points.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Validate customer requirements.
•Establish, manage and maintain Quality Assurance Plans and related procedures, followed by obtaining needed approvals.
•Participate in defining the Program Management Plan (PMP) to support the Program Manager.
•Actively participate in all aspects of program gate reviews (internal and external) ensuring compliance of program deliverables. (APQP, One Safran Methodology) and contribute to validating APQP.
•Meets regularly with Customer to review problem solving, transfer of works, APQP/PPAP progress and approvals, monthly performance reports, project risk assessments.
•Coordinate quality program activities with quality engineers, supplier quality engineers & other departments throughout the project.
•Monitor non-conformity analysis and relevant actions and communicate with customers on quality events and drive to eliminate reoccurrence.
•Establish Quality Improvement Plans and coordinate KPI, results and updates both internally and externally.
•Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
•Regular, predictable attendance is required;
•Other duties may be assigned.

•Project Management/Team leader experience -Advanced
Education and/or Experience
•Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in project management and quality methods.
Knowledge/Skills
•Fluent in English.
•Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
•Ability to work in a cross-functional/international team environment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
•Certified Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt
