In the role of Production Planner II you'll play a pivotal part on our Planning Department team.
This position contributes to our vision by:
•Analyzes customer independent demand and assists in developing master production schedules accordingly.
•Synchronizes supply plans per demand to ensure smooth flow of material while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
•Collaborate with cross functional groups, such as Procurement, Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to expedite orders or resolve issues that might potentially impact on-time delivery.
•Plan and coordinate material transfers to support after-market spares and R&O sales, plan/manage inter-company material transfers to meet production and sales needs.
•Participate in production meetings with other functional groups within Operations to discuss weekly/daily schedules, material shortages and priorities for manufacturing.
•Generate and maintain global reporting to provide order status, delivery commitments and performance data to upper management.
•Assist in the establishing bill of material effectivities.
•Investigate and analyze root cause of planning issues.
•Interface with Sales/Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) regarding lead times, status and commitments.
•Work with Product Line Coordinators to prioritize manufacturing orders and expedite critical parts on the shop floor.
•Closely interact with Procurement to help expedite critical parts.
•Work with other personnel in cross-functional process improvement teams for specified tasks assigned by management.
•Other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is between $66,560 - $85,770 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Job Requirements:
Education - Bachelor's degree ; a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and professional knowledge.
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of management.
