Role description
Work collaboratively with your stakeholders to meet their needs and foster a culture of Great Place to Work.
To work closely with QC and Operations Management in order to prioritise the dispositioning of non-conformance.
To work closely with QA and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure that effective repair and rework.
To propose substantiated dispositions to Customers, via the PQM's, for Major non-conformances.
• Provide excellent quality products and superior service to your stakeholders.
• To critically evaluate manufacturing non-conformances in terms of the Structural and Safety / Reliability Implications.
• To effectively categorise DDD's in relation to both the magnitude of the problem and the proposed solution.
• To provide substantiated dispositions for Minor non-conformances where the UK Site is the Industrial Designer of the Product, or has delegated authority, and to co-ordinate the technical substantiation of these dispositions through liaison with Materials Engineers.
• To provide substantiated dispositions for Minor non-conformances where the UK Site is not the Industrial Designer of the Product, by liaison with MRB / Technical personnel on other Aircelle sites.
• To support the evaluation and implementation of Corrective Actions aimed at reducing manufacturing non-conformances.
• To promote and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the performance of MRB and the Business.
• To promote and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving products and manufacturing processes.
Travel specifictity
Desired profile
Occasional Travel to France and other Safran Nacelles sites in the UK will be required.

• Demonstrable experience in aeronautical engineering
• Good awareness of Composite and Metallic structures and materials
• Good understanding of Design principles and material selection
• Excellent understanding of stress principles
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
• Good communication skills
• Good time and priority management skills
• Good planning and organization skills
• Engineering Degree / HND or equivalent experience –
• French Language Skills is beneficial but not essential
