The Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern support process optimization initiatives across our organization. The CI intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, collect and interpret data, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance. The CI intern will assist in facilitating improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other problem-solving methodologies while documenting findings and tracking measurable results. This internship offers hands-on experience in operational excellence, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to contribute meaningful, data-driven improvements to real business processes.

Candidate skills & requirements
Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Ideal for 3rd or 4th year or post graduate students.
Computer Skills:
• Experience or basic understanding of ERP systems
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Interest in HSE, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.Exposure to OSHA, environmental regulations, or safety coursework.
• Experience with Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, or visual management.
• Coursework or project experience related to sustainability, safety, or process improvement.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Six sigma knowledge.
• Minitab knowledge.
• Autocad knowledge.
• Microsoft Office packag.
