Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. As part of our LEAP engine ramp-up, we are looking for an Inspector (Jet Engines) to join and strengthen our teams.

As an Aircraft Engine Inspector, you play a key role in ensuring quality, safety and airworthiness. Your work directly impacts aircraft performance and passenger safety.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing visual and dimensional inspections on dismantled engine parts following approved procedures

• Evaluating parts, modules or engines (serviceable, repairable or scrap) and recording decisions in the ERP system

• Launching and following up required actions based on inspection findings

• Using the appropriate tools, materials and inspection methods

• Ensuring full traceability by correctly closing inspection tasks

• Defining the future configuration of parts and modules

• Carrying out incoming inspections after repair or purchase

• Performing final inspections after internal repairs

Your Profile

We are looking for inspectors who take pride in being quality driven, technically strong and comfortable taking responsibility.

You bring:

• Technical high school diploma in mechanics, aeronautics or a related field

• Demonstrated experience as an Inspector with solid knowledge of aircraft engines

• A strong focus on quality, safety and compliance

• The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

• Flexibility and adaptability in changing working conditions

• A proactive mindset and sound decision making skills

• Excellent technical English; Dutch and/or French

• Willingness to work in a two shift system (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)

• The ability to thrive in an international, multicultural team
