Job Description

The HR Apprentice is responsible for providing administrative HR support to the HR team, managers and employees ensuring the efficiency of the HR processes and practices and application of HR policies.

• Administer new starters, leavers and a variety of employment lifecycle changes (ensuring correct documentation/approvals for payroll processing and ensuring all HR systems are up to date

• Support administration of recruitment & L&D activities as required e.g. organising interviews/onboarding tasks/updating LMS system

• Producing standard letters including references and confirmation of employment

• Raise PR/PO requests for the HR team – liaising with external suppliers where necessary

• Manage HR General Enquiries mailbox - answer day-to-day queries across a variety of issues, escalating to the HR team as required ensuring accurate and timely resolution.

• Support coordination of site CSR activities, including update Engage for Good platform with site CSR events and activities

• Attending HR related meetings and acting as notetaker as required

• Book meeting rooms and coordinate arrangements for internal events and meetings e.g. training courses

• Ensure the company intranet and notice boards are up to date with relevant communications

• Actively take part in continuous improvements within the HR department

• Any additional tasks as required by the HR team

Job Requirements
