Job description

Your role :

We are seeking a motivated Fleet Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of fleet operational data across multiple maintenance and information systems. Your work will directly contribute to flight safety, support engineering decisions, optimize maintenance plans, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the fleet.

The Fleet Data Specialist (FDS) is responsible for data collection from commercial airline customers across multiple regions, data processing and uploading data into data reporting systems and retrieving data in the form of reports. The FDS will work closely with Field Service Engineers (FSE).

Major activities:

• Data collection from commercial airline customers across multiple regions

• Data validation, scrubbing and processing of raw data

• Data management for assigned customers

• Data retrieving in the form of reports as and when required

• Maintain established contact frequency with FSEs to assess customer climate, collect data and to provide input on account status

• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support engineering teams and management

• Maintain and improve data management tools and processes.

On a daily basis, you demonstrate :

• Strong computer aptitude and proficiency with advanced software tools (including Microsoft Office Suite).

• Strong data management and analytical skills : Excel, Power BI (SQL/Python is a plus).

• Hands on experience of working on high end Dashboards

• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross functional teams.

• Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset (airlines, MRO, OEM, engine manufacturers)

• Graduate with expertise in Data management/reporting

• Minimum 3-6 years of working experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, data analysis, aeronautics, or related technical field.
