For our Safran Aircraft Engines Acitivities in Frankfurt, we are looking for an Field Service Engineer (FSE) to start early 2021.
The FSE works under Safran Aircraft Engines management for professional Customer & Product Support concerns. He or she represents the Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM), CFM International (through Safran AE) at the Customer (Airline) according to the Support contract signed between them.
He or she is based away from the OEM facility, at Customer's base.
The following specification describes the mission of the Field Service Engineer.

YOUR MISSION:

·  • Represents the OEM at Customer bases or by roving, providing technical advises and recommendations on operations and
maintenance of OEM's Products, as first interface between
Customer and the OEM

·  • Establishes and maintains a climate of professionalism, confidence and trust with Customers and has an impeccable
ethic with regards to the OEM interests.

·  • Listens to Customer understands its needs, monitors and analyzes Customer Satisfaction relative to the OEM Product
Support

·  • Anticipates Customer difficulties and recommends solutions defined with the Customer Support team

·  • Tracks & reports in the dedicated tools the Service Bulletins implementation and Customer Notification Report (CNR)
resolution (for Leap programs these activities are key)

·  • Is an active member of the Customer Team and attends all meetings requested by the Team, in coordination with the
Customer Support Manager (CSM) or Customer Program
Manager (CPM/CTL).

·  • Available for training and business trips on demand all around the world

·  • High professional availability: Reachable and available on 24/24
·  - 7 days a week basis for communication, and as per Regional Manager (RM) instruction to back-up a fellow colleague when
needed.

On-Wing operation support (Line):

·  • Maintains a 24/24 - 7 days a week communication link between Customer and OEM Customer & Product Support

·  • Good technical knowledge of the CFM & LEAP products

·  • Helps Customer with: o Technical Support, including but not limited to:

·  • OEM Technical Publication interpreting and concerns
·  • Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)
·  • Fault Isolation Manual (FIM)
·  • Illustrated Part Catalog (IPC)
·  • Illustrated Tool and equipment manual (ITEM)
·  • Engine Shop Manual (ESM)
·  • Line Maintenance actions:
·  • Trouble shooting
·  • LRU replacement
·  • Ground-Run checks
·  • Fan trim balancing
·  • BSI
·  • Engine replacements
·  • Engine Water wash
·  • Diagnostics reports on board enabling configuration
·  • Any other on site assistance requested by the customer

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

·  • Technical Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree or Graduated Engineer in Aeronautics or Mechanics (equivalent to
BAC +2 / BAC +4 in the French system)

·  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft engine, aeronautic environment, experience in operational support and maintenance
most appreciated.

·  • Has a very good knowledge of OEM's Organization and uses his/her own network inside the OEM's departments so French
language speaking is most appreciated.

·  • Aptitude to take decisions related to aircraft engines operations and to provide high-quality support without management
proximity

·  • High quality communication and behavior skills, natural diplomacy

·  • Dress code matching OEM – Safran AE image and Customer habits

·  • Compliance with Customer rules related to safety, security, environment and internal regulations

·  • Mastering English language – fluent reading, writing and speaking.

·  • French language knowledge would be taken into consideration.
·  • Eligible in obtaining a 5-year clean background check to be able to apply to any airport access clearance.
