The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintenance of heating, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, painting, masonry, carpentry, custodial services, production equipment and all mechanical repairs. Resolves emergency calls for heating, electricity and plumbing for all buildings in accordance with established policies and procedures, and at the least possible cost.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Plan, supervise, report and implement general maintenance of the building.
•Maintain all systems required for proper operation of building and machinery including heat, air conditioning, fire extinguishers, electric, plumbing, etc. to ensure the reliability, security, performance, habitability, and integrity of the facility.
•Ensure overall physical appearance of the building and grounds including: paint, carpentry, parking lot, etc.
•Ensures plant machinery and processes meet compliance regulations.
•Oversee and manage maintenance employees including reviews, ratings, supervision, training and instruction.
•Handle all emergency service calls on a 24/7/365 basis, as required
•Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to maintenance, upkeep, and overall building safety. Including the maintenance and updates of all plant records and drawings.
•Purchase and control inventory for all maintenance materials and strive towards maximum efficiency.
•Coordinate, direct, and control the safety and quality of contractor trades for infrastructure projects, equipment installations, and production machine rearrangements. Including the authorization of payment for service contract awards following Safran procedures (including indirect purchasing procedures).
•Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
•Regular, predictable attendance is required;
•Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Language Skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. -Basic
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Basic
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization –Basic
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. -Basic
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.-Basic
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. -Basic
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.-Basic
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• New Jersey Fireman's High Pressure Boilers License
• Industrial Fire Training
• Knowledge of systems including:
-Electrical Blue Print Reading
-General Blue Print Reading
-Plumbing
-Welding
-Heating and Air Conditioning, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Supervisory responsibilities includes supervising four mechanics.
