Job description

3.1 Electrical Maintenance & Reliability

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems (LV/MV panels, MCCs, transformers, lighting, HVAC, compressors, machines).

• Lead preventive/predictive maintenance using CMMS to minimize downtime.

• Perform insulation, thermal, and power quality tests (THD, PF, voltage).

• Develop and apply electrical safety SOPs (Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, PPE).

• Support new machine installation/commissioning ensuring stable power and grounding.

• Calibrate and verify electrical instruments and sub-meters.

• Analyze failures, perform RCA/RCCA, and prevent recurrence.

• Support audits and inspections per IEAT and industrial regulations.

• Manage spare part inventory and critical spares.

• Plan and execute factory shutdown isolation and re-energization safely.

3.2 Energy Management System (EMS) & Correspondent Role

• Act as local energy correspondent supporting EMS deployment per Safran standard.

• Monitor energy consumption (electricity, air, chilled water, HVAC).

• Maintain baselines, EnPIs, and SEUs; analyze trends monthly.

• Identify and execute energy-saving projects with ROI and CO₂ tracking.

• Coordinate with teams to deliver Energy Action Plan and monitor via SmartEE/SCORE.

• Validate energy meter data, verify invoices, and detect abnormalities.

• Report energy performance and progress for management review.

• Support ISO 50001 internal audits and certification readiness.

• Collaborate with ESCOs/universities (e.g., ERDI-CMU) for M&V studies.

• Propose new technologies (solar PV, VFD, LED, leak detection).

• Ensure compliance with Safran energy procedures and low-carbon goals.

• Promote awareness through campaigns and “Energy Day” activities.

3.3 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Production, Facility, and HSE to align maintenance and energy plans.

• Coordinate with Finance for cost-saving validation and CAPEX/OPEX tracking.

• Support Sourcing in selecting energy-efficient equipment and qualified vendors.

• Assist during IEAT or official inspections on energy and electrical compliance.

3.4 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain one-line diagrams, load lists, and sub-meter layouts.

• Record all activities in CMMS/EMS systems.

• Prepare reports and action plans for audits or improvements.

• Update competency and training records regularly.

Candidate skills & requirements

4.1 Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Licensed as a Professional Electrical Engineer preferred.

4.2 Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or electronics manufacturing.

• Experience in energy management, monitoring systems, or ISO 50001 deployment is an advantage.

• Proven record in handling power system troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance.

4.3 Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (transformers, switchgear, MCC, protection relays).

• Skilled in using electrical testing tools (megger, clamp meter, harmonics analyzer, thermal camera).

• Familiar with energy monitoring systems (e.g., Schneider PM2100/PM5500, SmartEE, EasyLogic).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CMMS.

• Understanding of energy analysis, load balancing, and power factor improvement techniques.

• Ability to prepare ROI calculations, project proposals, and energy dashboards.

4.4 Behavioral Competencies

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Thai and English.
