In the role of Continuous Improvement Intern you'll play a pivotal part in problem resolution.

You'll have the opportunity to act as a subject matter specialist in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products.

This position contributes to our vision by the following activities:

 5S deployment and sustainability;

 Creation of sequential production cells;

 Support Accelerated Improvement Workshops;

 Conduct and coordinate monthly audits to our lean production system;

 Investigate and document process best practices to be shared across the shop;

 Make sure the continuous improvement initiative is deployed throughout the company according to plans and expectations;

 Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;

 Regular, predictable attendance is required;

 Other duties may be assigned.

Candidate skills & requirements

 Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Basic

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. - Basic

 Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. - Basic
