In the role of Manufacturing Engineer III you'll play a pivotal part in problem resolution. You'll have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products. This position contributes to our vision by:

 5S deployment and sustainability;

 Creation of sequential production cells;

 Support Accelerated Improvement Workshops;

 Conduct and coordinate monthly audits to our lean production system;

 Investigate and document process best practices to be shared across the shop;

 Make sure the continuous improvement initiative is deployed throughout the company according to plans and expectations;

 Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;

 Regular, predictable attendance is required;

 Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

 Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering

 Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point - Beginner

 Analytical, self starter, proactive, with excellent communication skills.

 Knowledgable in Lean Manufacturing,

 Ablity to relay information both verbally and in writing

 Ability to complete projects with little supervision

 Good interpersonal skills

 Looking for candidates with can-do attitude and sense of urgency in completing projects and tasks on time

 Ability to work in a team environment

 Exhibits self-esteem, able to accept responsibility and highly organized
