Job description

We are seeking a Certification Engineer with expertise in aircraft seating systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Interface Loads Analysis with report generation, Structural Similarity Reports, Static and Dynamic test plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with design, stress analysis, and certification teams to achieve timely certification of aircraft seats

• Experience with seat design and stress analysis.

• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for aircraft interiors. Knowledge of CATIA, NASTRAN, or similar tools.

Candidate skills & requirements

• Read and analyze technical reports and drawings.

• Prepare Interface Loads Analysis with report generation, Structural Similarity Reports and Static and Dynamic test plans for aircraft seats in accordance with FAA/EASA regulations and customer specifications.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft seat certification or related aerospace domain.

• Strong understanding of FAA/EASA regulations, including CS/FAR 25.561, 25.562, 25.785.

• Familiarity with static and dynamic testing (sled tests, structural tests) procedures

• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills using Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
