Candidate skills & requirements

Interested?

To be successful you will already demonstrate some experience of working as a Buyer. In an ideal world you will have knowledge and experience of indirect purchasing, however, this is not a necessity. If you have some solid experience of working within a purchasing department, have experience of dealing with multiple suppliers within your role and have had exposure to contracts and strategies, we'd certainly be interested in hearing from you!

It's not just about the experience, it's also about the person and behaviours. You are a team player who considers themselves to have strengths in influencing both stakeholders as well as your team. Focused on getting the job done, you understand the need for a process, but have the ability to think laterally and creatively to overcome potential challenges. You are confident and capable of dealing with (sometimes) challenging people and are used to working in a very busy environment and consider yourself to be resilient. You are also numerate and happy to be empowered to work autonomously.

You'll be educated to the equivalent of degree standard and ideally have CIPS or be working towards CIPS.

We can offer you the opportunity to grow and develop your career and work towards CIPS if you aren't already doing so.

Are you interested? We would be delighted to hear from you. Please click apply and submit a CV and we'll be in touch. A full job description can be supplied upon request.

Make every future a success.
