One day you could be liaising with one of the world's largest airframers, and the next, some of the biggest airline brands around the world!
In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is to provide historical, current and predictive views of
business operations using technologies such as reporting, analytics, dashboard development, predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Design and implement databases, data collection systems, data analysis and
other strategies to improve statistical efficiency and quality. Identify, analyze
and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets
· Administration:
Manage existing business reports
Ensure that data is efficiently organized, manage access to it and ensure
compliance with guidelines and regulations
Manage the business current RAD environment

Determine and define business architectures where required
·
Lead business modelling for optimal reporting purposes
·
Listen closely to internal/external customers, formulate and clarify their
requirements. Manage relations with all stakeholders to ensure that solutions
meet operational requirements. Propose different solutions, based on
contextual analysis and with preference for user-centric systems. Advise
customers on the choice of appropriate solutions. Act as advocate of the
chosen solutions and support their rollout process

Job Requirements
Candidate skills:
Ability to manage and prioritise stakeholder expectations at all levels ranging from end user up to C-level
An ability to communicate complex technical/database related issues to business users
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure
A collaborative approach to delivery working with various technical and business departments
Good working knowledge of data extraction, data modelling and data reporting techniques
Good working knowledge of SQL, databases and Microsoft products
Be able to handle a high degree of multi-tasking Knowledge of the overall functioning of the information system and its configurations
Present results in a relevant and usable format and explain them in easily understandable terms for decision makers. Act as a consultant to facilitate decision processes for decision makers
Data architecture principles, functional and dysfunctional analysis
Data visualization, exploration and data.
