Assembly Fitter

£37,585 starting salary, rising to £39,790 on completion of company training +shift allowance!

Dayshift – Basic salary

Nightshift – Premium payment - 38.5%

Bridging shift - Premium payment - 39.75%

Weekend shift - Premium payment – 59.02%

What will I be doing?

· 
Assemble and test Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears, and side stays

· 
Inspection and, once training is completed, sign off of components

· 
Maintain a high standard of quality for each component

· 
Ensure FOD compliance at all times.

· 
You'll work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, typically covering dayshift, nightshift, and bridging shift. Occasionally, there may be options for weekend shifts too.

Job Requirements

What do I need to succeed in the role?

· 
Proven Assembly / Fitting experience, ideally in an Aerospace or Automotive environment.

· 
Completed an Advanced (Level 3) Apprenticeship in an Engineering field *Mandatory

· 
The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions

· 
A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow lines, and takt times

· 
Knowledge of COSH and flow line methodologies is ideal, but not essential for you to apply
