Job description

Description of the Project:

The internship project involves participation in the stator production process step 3. The internship will include analysis of measurement programs for Leap1A, Leap1B, and other stators, as well as statistical process control (SPC).

Substantive scope of the project:

· 
Conducting activities to improve measurement programs.

· 
Proposing and developing solutions to efficiently and effectively prepare measurement reports.

· 
Analyzing the measurement program for the GEnx STG5 stator to enable the implementation of a "lightening" maesurement program.

· 
Ongoing collaboration with the team from the technology, quality, and production departments to provide technical support a "lightening" measurement program.

Scope of knowledge that the student will acquire during the internship:

· 
Advanced knowledge of coordinate measuring machine programming, Metrosoft, Quartis.

· 
In-depth understanding of the principles of mechanical measurement software design.

· 
Ability to perform statistical analyses using SPC.

Candidate skills & requirements

· 
Basic to intermediate experience with CMM software (Metrosoft, Quartis etc.).

· 
Understanding of technical documentation and definition drawing.

· 
Good command of English (Polish would be nice).

· 
Problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
