Corporate Division Finance Intern

This internship will give you the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience with real projects and challenging work within Corporate Division Finance, however alongside this experience, SABMiller may help you by contributing to the study case studies or projects that you are developing during the course of your studies. You will be given a good level of responsibility and in return will be expected to make a tangible contribution.

Within the Corporate Division Finance team the intern will experience the complexity of corporate head office finance from cost centre management to intercompany relationships, understanding the reporting cycle as well as the impact of global entities and working with outsourced service providers.
SABMiller runs internally a number of various development initiatives and has wealth of experience in coaching and mentoring. For example, we are an accredited CIMA Quality Training Partner. You will be supported by a business mentor.

Desired profile

For this 12 month period we are looking for candidates to have a strong academic record, can demonstrate an active interest in accounting and finance. You will demonstrate good analytical ability, attention to detail, have excellent interpersonal and team working skills and a willingness to learn.
In return we can offer you a very competitive basic salary during you internship with us, lunch and beer allowances.

If invited for interview, the process will include an initial telephone interview with an HR representative followed by a face to face interview with the two managers from the Corporate Division Finance team. If successful the final stage will be an interview with the Head of Corporate Division Finance. The interview may include teleconference.
