To start in September 2016, we have several opportunities for graduates to join the
RWE Supply & Trading Graduate Scheme (m/f)FOR RWE SUPPLY & TRADING GMBH, LOCATIONS ESSEN/LONDON/SWINDON

The RWE Supply & Trading graduate scheme provides an opportunity for bright emerging talents to launch their career with us. Graduates who join our business will start their career at an exciting and opportune time as we expand into new markets and grow our business on a global scale. We will give you the ideal foundation to flourish whilst you work alongside experienced industry experts and grow and thrive as a young professional.

Your tasks:With the option to rotate into a wide range of exciting and stimulating areas, all our graduates carry out diverse and meaningful work throughout their graduate scheme. The scheme is 2 years in duration and will see you carry out 4 rotations of 6 months each. You will be given the chance to choose your own rotations and can opt from any area of our business including proprietary trading of energy commodities (power, coal, gas, oil, LNG), Commercial Asset Optimisation, Sales & Origination, analytical functions such as Structuring & Valuation or Risk Management. You could also choose to work in our business support functions such as Back Office or Finance Controlling.
In order for you to become a well-rounded industry expert, you will complete one of your rotations in a non-trading function so you have broad awareness of the business. No matter which rotations you choose, you will be given the skills and knowledge to succeed during your time on the graduate scheme and beyond.

Your profile:If you are passionate about the energy trading industry and have the ambition to learn and grow at a company which is fast-paced, dynamic and full of change, then the RWE Supply &Trading graduate scheme could be the ideal opportunity for you. We look for the following in our graduates:

• a completed degree (BSc, MSc or PHd) in the following fields of study: maths, economics, business administration, physics, industrial engineering or any other analytical/numerate degree
• fluency in English (German skills are a bonus)
• excellent communication skills
• the ability to learn quickly and take accountability
• resilient and hardworking
• strong analytical skills
• strong team-working skills
• mobility and flexibility as you could be placed in any location for your rotations
• relevant work experience is beneficial but your motivation and passion should shine through in your application
