2 x Social Media Intern (6 months)

Job description

We are a successful and rapidly growing video games company based in Welwyn Garden City, who design, manufacture, wholesale and retail unique gaming merchandise for Sony PlayStation, Sega, Capcom, Ubisoft, Disney, Atari and Bethesda.

We’re looking for 2 passionate, highly motivated and reliable video game fans to join our commercial team as Social Media Interns.

Key responsibilities:
Learning the brands and developing social media plans
Creating and scheduling daily posts across all social pages in the style of the brand
Creating blog content
Community management - working with the customer service team on interactions and messages
Competitor analysis and ensuring we are maximising social reach
Finding new creative content that is relevant to our brands
On site social media
Creative event specific social media plans
Suggesting new ways of interacting with our key markets

Required skills/education:
A/AS level in relevant subject
Proficient use of design packages such as Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage
Strong knowledge of video gaming culture and latest developments
Demonstrable knowledge of working with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, blogs, and emerging digital channels
Ideally someone with at least 1+years experience in a similar role

SALARY: Travel expenses covered
DURATION: 6 - 12 Months
