Job description

We are looking for a new full time team member, to start as soon as possible! We need someone friendly and hard working to help deliver excellent customer service to our customers!

Roper Rhodes is a family run business established over 30 years ago, we have a real pride in the products we offer and work really hard to deliver excellence in Customer service. We have a friendly and loyal team of people who achieve our aims and objectives and continually strive to improve our Customers experience.

The Sales Support office is at the heart of the business where we interact with our Customers from answering technical queries to taking orders. This role is fundamental to the relationships we build with our Customers. The purpose of the position is to support the business by providing top quality Customer service through effective working.

We work 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday - with a 5pm finish on a Friday.

The role of Customer service advisor is a mixture of administration and Customer service activities, the main tasks are listed below:

  • Deliver an excellent service in all interactions with our Customers.

o All communications, verbal or written to be clear and appropriate

  • Using internal systems (SAP) effectively to:

o Process orders received

o Organise and process returns

  • Through an effective telephone manner and excellent written skills you will

o Take orders from Customers over the phone

o Assist Customers with queries

o Provide technical advice

  • Maintain internal record keeping processes which link to tasks and activities.
  • Accounts administration
  • General administration tasks
  • Learn and apply all Customer service processes and procedures

About you:

You will have experience as aCustomer Service professional with an excellent telephone manner and great IT skills, with an energetic and positive approach to work. You should enjoy working in a team where each person makes a real difference.
