We are seeking someone to start ASAP
Role:
Ensure successful project delivery and maximise margins. To ensure risks are identified early and risk exposure is limited through careful planning. To ensure the project is delivered in a safe manner, on time, within budget and to the agreed levels of quality.
Pro actively develop relationships with the design team in order to identify best practice opportunities and ensure the design is delivered to site in the most practicable manner.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The key tasks of this role include:
Demonstrating a consistently high standard of Health and Safety leadership and behaviour.
Fulfilling the Project Manager’s responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety Policy.
Develop, manage and maintain programme including Target programmes as appropriate, recording regular progress updates and highlighting key events.
The development of positive relationships with all parties associated with the contract.
Liaising with Clients representatives to ensure client requirements are clearly understood, resourced and implemented on site.
Ensuring the delivery team is fully appraised of individual roles and responsibilities
Liaise with other members of the Team to ensure procurement dates are achieved and that appropriate resources are selected.

Ensure the company management system is delivered and fully implemented on site.
Ensuring that project activity is undertaken in accordance with the requirements of all current statutory legislation.
Ensuring, in conjunction with the Project commercial team and line manager, that all information relating to contract variations is identified for commercial recovery that and client notification exists to allow this recovery to occur.
To prepare and present information relating to project reporting as agreed with line manager.
Ensuring that all matters that cannot be resolved at site level are highlighted and presented to line manager for resolution.
Controlling the "close-out" of the project to ensure that all activities required to be completed are completed in accordance with the Contract and that information relating to the preparation of any handover manuals etc is made available.
Person Specification;
Candidates for this role must have a track record and recent experience of successfully delivering Structural restaurant and bar projects in the £500k -£1m value range.
Qualified to degree level or alternatively ACIOB / MCIOB will be an advantage.
Building trade background experience would not be discounted.
Previous experience of basement construction and installation of steel structure behind retained façades is essential.
Design and build contract experience is essential.
IT literate, particularly Microsoft Office word and excel an advantage.
Ability to work with Microsoft / Asta Power project or other construction planning software an advantage.
