Due to continuing growth, Ridge and Partners are now looking for a talented Graduate M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Oxford - Woodstock.

About the Role:
As a Graduate M&E Quantity Surveyor, based in Oxford, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a wide range of M&E quantity surveying services under the direction of a Team Manager.

Main Duties:

• Advise on services costs involved in building projects
• Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
• Advise on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed
• Advise on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
• Undertaking pre and post contract work for both End User Clients and Contractors / Sub-Contractors
• Our projects include large industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to smaller schemes and working in interesting sectors including; healthcare, insurance, government sites, etc

About You:
To be successful at Ridge you will need to demonstrate the desire and drive to becoming Chartered. The position will be fully supported by the company (the national Ridge RICS APC support process) and the vastly experienced and talented Oxford M&E Quantity Surveying Team.

Experience and Qualifications:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying, similar level degree or vocational qualification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year cost management experience (ideally M&E cost management but not essential)
• Clean UK driving licence
