Job description

How will you make an impact?

·  Be a single point of contact for the business and technology teams to send solid and secure flow of data, with special care of master data related requirements and processes
·  Know how to identify possible system improvements, in accordance with software evolutions
·  Know how to manage the integration of customer master data, vendor, article and other type of master data"
·  Know how to plan/coordinate any changes/extensions to the current system, knowing how to draft documentation of technical specifications, updates, operational guidelines, security, data migration, resolution of errors in existing programs
·  Support/lead tests including cross functional tests
·  Collaborate in developing procedures, focusing on operational efficiency
·  Ensure data quality and standardization
·  Support/execute daily master data management activities in a global organization
·  Develop a continuous improvement mindset by constantly working to identify ideas for "end-to-end" process consolidation for master data in business processes
·  Be able to manage user training

 

How will you experience success with us?

·  A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
·  Knowledge of data flows within the Master Data Repository tool (know how they interact, where the various data are used in the logical flows)
·  Experience with MDM toolsets
·  Familiarity with master data lifecycle processes (materials, customers, suppliers)
·  Experience with SAP MM, SD, FI and/or PLM is a plus
·  A strong work ethic
·  A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated to be 20/30%
·  Development of project documentation, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required
·  In case he/she is more oriented to product master data, a knowledge of PLM topics could be useful
