Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering:
    • Serve as a trusted partner to the Van Cleef & Arpels, offering financial guidance and challenging assumptions to optimize business performance.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, cash flow optimization and trend analysis, providing actionable insights to management.
    • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operational teams to improve Finance proximity, understand business drivers, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
    • Support strategic projects and initiatives with robust financial analysis and recommendations.

  • Reporting & Performance Management:
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc analyses for local, regional, and global stakeholders.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into performance trends, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
    • Ensure compliance with Richemont Group financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Data Management & Insights:
    • Demonstrate a strong ability to deal with large amounts of data, transforming raw information into meaningful financial insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to enhance reporting and forecasting accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, FP&A, or a similar analytical role, preferably in a matrix environment with a multinational company in the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and mechanisms (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and financial statement modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with large amounts of data and strong analytical skills.
  • High learning agility for finance tech and systems (SAP FICO/ BW, Anaplan, automation tools, visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, SAC, automation tools, etc.) .
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional sense of initiative and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
  • Strong business partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • International exposure through personal experience and previous roles, demonstrating an understanding of global business contexts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Native proficiency in Korean and fluent in English (written and spoken).
