Job description
As emerging creative talents and new designers aspire to launch their own brands after graduating from global fashion schools, AZ Academy: BUSINESS FOR DESIGNERS comes to fill a gap, offering a never-before-seen program tailored to equip designers with the necessary skills and knowledge to transform their creative ideas into successful, investable businesses.
As AZ Academy Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives, supporting key activities, ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders involved and promoting synergies between AZ Academy and Creative Academy.
You will report to the Creative Academy Executive Director.
How will you make an impact? You will:
· Ensure legal compliance with Richemont guidelines, also by coordinating the review of the contractual relationships
· Define a process to follow up regularly on budget and ensure a global reconciliation between all entities, also providing regular reporting to Group F&A division
· Coordinate, by collecting and consolidating the information, the Strategic Advisor, the Creative Academy and Accademia Costume e Moda when they prepare the yearly strategic planning
· Implement the roadmap in line with the global fashion calendar
· Actively participate with Accademia Costume & Moda to the constant improvement of the didactic program, including evaluations of the teachers and contents
· Occasionally analyze Designers’ feedback with their tutor on the experience for continuous improvement
· Leverage Creative Academy knowhow and content to enrich the program when relevant – and viceversa with AZ Academy
· Support the students’ progress through the program and their global journey within the Richemont Group
· Facilitate the interaction between AZ Academy, Richemont Group, and all the Maisons
· Partially support yearly recruitment session and validation for the Fashion & Accessories Designers integrating the program
· Support and organize the activities for the jury selection and organize the yearly final presentation with all key people from the fashion industry involved
How will you experience success with us?
· Strong project management skills and strategic thinking
· Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building and stakeholder management
· Previous experience in project management within fashion industry
· Flexible, open, creative, positive
· At ease in matrix organization and strong ability in navigating in complex, fast paced, diverse & challenging environments
· Digital savvy
· Experience in fashion is mandatory especially in interacting with creatives
· Strong interest in transmission & pedagogy
· Fluent in Italian and English, French is a plus
· Be available to be full time based in Milan
