- Role -
Administrative Support to The Team
To be the driving force for team production, and handling both clients and team members.
Keen business focused mind implementing strategy and organising everyone appropriately
with the ability to create an enabling environment for the team by helping wherever possible
Administrative support to the team
report on client growth and profitability internally
Build and expand a database of key target customers
Manage social media campaigns
Manage SEO strategy
Anything related to our operations and admin across the business, which can vary significantly on a daily basis
Anything and everything early stage startup related that the founders trust you to do for them
Minute meetings on adhoc basis
General admin (e.g. managing post, printing, booking couriers/ taxis, filing etc)
Auditing, re-organising and streamlining our Dropbox filing system
Supporting on HR-related issues including recruitment
Proactively seeking out ways to improve systems and processes in all aspects of our activities.
Office Management
Overall responsibility for managing the office
Answering the switchboard, managing reception, welcoming guests and covering staff phones
Ensuring all utilities and communications (telephone, internet) work continuously and the office provides a good and safe working environment (keep space tidy, manage cleaner/ estate managers etc)
Managing stationery and kitchen/cleaning items for the office – ensure sufficient stocks of key items held (manage inventory) and reorder/replenish as required
Monitor and manage email account; replying to all general enquiries and passing on requests to relevant departments
Any other office-related tasks that come up on an ad-hoc basis
Desired profile
Skills & Qualities:
Highly organised, logical thinker looking to develop a career in administration / finance / operations management. Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
Positive, friendly and outgoing personality
A passion for technology and how it works - startup savvy
Highly organised, meticulous and dependable with ability to multi-task and organise others
Entrepreneurial, proactive and self-confident – the individual may need to spend periods of time working unsupervised/ with little management
High degree of initiative - ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise; improve and streamline processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to filter information and assess priorities
Ability to be flexible as part of a small team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Fluent in English
