- Role -

Not for the fainthearted, this super fast paced start-up company based in Central London, is looking for a sharp confident person, to join their small dynamic and ultra bouncy team.
You'll be working directly with the founder and along side our strategist, lead brand designer, Front-end developer and UX specialist, business development expert, photographer/videographer and social media guru.

We are looking for a bright, young and enthusiastic web developer to join our small but lively team in Central London. As a start up design agency, we are looking for fresh talent who can grow with us. Working hand-in-hand with our lead front-end developer and UX designer, your role will be to pick up where they leave off to deliver a product that beautiful, slick and bang-on trend. We like to push boundaries here and we expect you to come up with truly innovative solutions and offer something new and fresh.

Your Responsibilities:

- meeting/liaising with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
- working together with a front-end developer to create forward-thinking and engaging website designs
- demonstrating draft sites and managing feedback process
- keeping up-to-date with recent technological and software developments
- producing products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
- working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Desired profile

Your Skill Set:

- Unwavering attention to detail and excellent organisation skills—this will be key to learning and growing in our fast-paced, fun environment.
- Good knowledge and an idea of the most recent practices in back-end web development techniques, including MySQL, PHP, Apache as well as Javascript, AJAX
- Experience with CMS systems (Wordpress, Concrete 5 etc.)
- Some experience writing, profiling, and optimising MySQL queries.
- Experience with debugging software methodologies and problem solving techniques.
- Good or basic knowledge in integrating and working with provided XHTML/HTML.
- Some understanding of usability and accessibility guidelines.
- Some experience in current web technologies and understanding differences and limitations with such technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS (particularly frameworks such as LESS and SASS) is a big plus.
