Backend/fullstack developer - Madrid

 We are looking for a motivated backend dev to bring new ideas and turn them into concrete solutions. The right innovation can make a difference during a crisis.
At Relief Applications we help humanitarian organisation to better respond to crises by providing the right innovation and technology to assist those affected by disaster and conflicts.
Working as software backend developer you will work in a multinational team. You will need to take part in full software development lifecycle. In any one moment Relief Applications developing several projects simultaneously which requires the ability to adapt to new skills/tools quickly.
You will be assisted in your work by interns and collaborate with each sector to bring the tool to life.
The main responsibilities will be to help relief applications web platform and apps as a back-end developer (Python and PHP) as well as ensuring tools are deployed.
Relief Applications run several innovative projects using AI (virtual assistant) and is looking at developing its machine learning capabilities. You will be part of the innovation task force, imagining and creating cutting edge solutions to change the how we help those affected by disasters.

Profil recherché:
Requirements
- Database creation, integration, and management—e.g., MySQL, SQLite
- Good knowledge of PHP, Python and JavaScript
- Motivated developer with a passion for humanitarian development
- Strong team player with can do attitude
- Proactive and easy going
- Able to learn to new technologies quickly

 
- Nice to have:
- Symfony and/or Django and/or Angular
- REST API design
- Cross platform mobile design
- Understanding of AI concept with a focus on machine learning


- Spanish and French desired but not essential
